Is it safe?
Yes solutions focused hypnotherapy is a completely safe, no one can be hypnotised against their will. Your conscious mind will always be in control and your brain can reject anything that is not appropriate for you. You can not be stuck in hypnosis and will return to full awareness.
How long will it take?
The number of sessions will vary from person to person, but I should be able to give you more of an idea during the initial consultation.
However some treatments have a set number of sessions. Smoking cessation is a one and a half to two hour session and fears and phobias are usually three sessions.
Will I do or say anything silly?
No. Solutions focused hypnotherapy is very different to stage hypnotherapy and is used to treat and help customers and you will never be asked to do anything that makes you feel uncomfortable.
Can everyone be hypnotised?
Most people can and do go into trance fairly easily as it is very similar to deep relaxation. Different people experience trance in different ways. We can discuss this further during the initial consultation. Most people really enjoy the sensation of trance.
Will it be suitable for treating my condition?
Please contact me on firstname.lastname@example.org or (UK) 07843010421 to find out if solutions focused hypnotherapy can help.
Is it suitable for children?
Yes. Children are usually very open to the idea of solutions focused hypnotherapy, and due to the positive nature they often respond very well. Children usually really enjoy learning how the brain works and often become experts at telling others how it works too...unfortunately due to the rise of children suffering with anxiety the amount of children using this type of safe therapy is increasing. (However it is best for children over the age of 7 as it does involve some concentration.)
Where will the session take place?
Sessions are currently taking place in my very relaxing home environment in Winterbourne. Access is not suitable for disabled customers, in which case I can do a home visit. I also offer online sessions to people who do not live locally.
What if I cannot make my appointment
Due to my busy schedule If you are unable to attend an appointment as planned, I ask that you give me 48 hours’ notice. I understand that sometimes this is not possible, and in these instances I will do my best to work around you. If you give less than 24 hours notice you will be charged a £15 cancellation charge.
